Cowbellpedia students competition show, 108 pupils slug it out for the grand prizes

Cowbell-milk-83x33Pupils of secondary and primary schools across Nigeria will gather for the Cowbellpedia competition show to practically demonstrate their intellectual prowess for the grand award prizes.

Over 51,017 students of primary and secondary schools in Nigeria registered and participated in the preliminary competition of the Cowbellpedia Qualifying Examination early this year.

The result of the qualifying examination show that 108 candidates out of 51,018 students that participated in the Cowbellpedia Qualifying Examination have qualified for the second stage of the competition.

According to a circular from Promasidor Nigeria Limited, PNL host and sponsor of the pupils engagement contest, disclosed on Thursday, that the 108 qualified pupils, mainly 25 female pupils and 83 male pupils in both the junior and senior schools categories, would compete, demonstrates their intellectual prowess at the show for the ultimate grand prizes awards.

The statement states, “This second stage, which is in a quiz format, will be further sub-divided into preliminary, semifinals and finals and will be in a series of 13 episodes. Michael Paul of Excelgrace Academy, Akaajime, Gboko, Benue State, led the pack in the senior category.

“In the junior category, four pupils recorded perfect scores. They are: Anita Alabi of Gloryland Secondary School, Igarra, Edo State; Fuad Alabi of Federal College of Science and Technology, Akoka, Lagos; Monyei Cynthia of Good Shepherd Secondary School, Meiran, Lagos; and Adeyanju Oluwafemi of Jesuit Memorial College, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.”

Also the Marketing Manager, Promasidor Nigeria Limited, PNL, Mr. Abiodun Ayodeji, reiterates that the top three students in each state of the federation for both junior and senior school categories in the Qualifying Examination will be encouraged and rewarded with motivation cash prizes.

The second stage of the Cowbellpedia intellectual competition show contest would be in a televised quiz format.
