The nation of Nigeria will experience another tension and expectation from the executive arm of government through the Presidency. The Presidency on Thursday disclosed that President Muhammadu Buhari has not changed his plan to revisit his personal doctors in London, United Kingdom for proper medical check-ups on his health.
This information was disclosed in an interview with journalists by the Mr. Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant to the President Buhari on Media and Publicity in an interview with journalists.
The Senior Special Advise, Mr. Garba Shehu reviewed that the health of the President is important to the nation democracy and it was not true that President Buhari had decided to bring his doctors to Nigeria instead of returning to London.
Mr. Garba Shehu, Senior Special Adviser did not specify the day and month when President Muhammadu Buhari will return to London for his medical check-ups.
Mr. Garba Shehu only disclosed that “It is false news (that Buhari is no longer going to London). We are not aware of the reported advance movements.
“The last time the President spoke about this, he said he would return to his doctors after some time.
“We are not aware that this has changed.
President Muhammadu Buhari had shortly after he returned to the country after his 49-day medical vacation in London admitted that he had never been that sick in his life as a military officer when the terrain was even tough.
That the President sincerely informed that he will return to London for further medical check-ups.
“I am feeling much better now, there may, however, be need to have further follow-ups within some weeks,” the President.
It was further disclosed that the good health of the President is what the citizens prayed for and a better Nigeria.
