The educational sector in Nigeria is at its peak again in fostering excellent teaching and standard education facilities.
Nigeria education is enjoying several education partnership with other nations. One of such partnership is the Nigerian Turkish International Colleges (NTIC), which is managed by First Surat Group. The Nigerian Turkish International College is located in the major states of the federation such as the federal capital territory (FCT), Kano State, Ogun State, Kaduna State and Yobe State to strengthen the existing relationship between federal government of Nigeria and Turkey in the area of education.
The First Surat Group mainly invests in the fields of education and health. It aims at providing education to offer brighter future for students.
From the offshoots of the partnership are number of institutions in Nigeria such as Galaxy University Preparatory Center, Nile University, Nigerian Tulip International Colleges, NTIC Foundation, and Nizamiye Hospital.
Today at the Nigerian Tulip International Colleges (NTIC), students were confirmed with scholarship to eight students and rewards 15 others
This is an assurance to the youths that Nigeria is moving to a greater height and education system is set for greater productivity of innovation, creativity and excellent as well the youths are the key subject of empowerment and encouragement to do excellent in their endeavour.
Nigerian Tulip International Colleges (NTIC) confirmed academic scholarship to 8 students and rewarded 15 others from the South zone States, who came top in excel in their academic and in 2017 National Mathematics Competition (NMC), which was organised by Nigerian Tulip International Colleges (NTIC) in collaboration with National Mathematics Centre (NMC) in Nigeria.
At the high profile ceremony, key personalities were present to deliver special topic to the participants.
The Channels Television representative News Anchor, Ms. Ijeoma Onyeator; The Servant Leader, Rose of Sharon Glorious Ministry International (RoSGMI), Mrs. Folorunso Alakija and Head of Counseling Department of RoSGMI, Lady Yemisi Rufus-Giwa; at the just-concluded RoSGMI interactive session on marriage themed’ Change begins with who in marriage’.
One of the facilitator at the program while speaking at the final prize and award ceremony of the ceremony in Lagos, the coordinator, South West zone of 2017 NMC, Fevzi Senkal, stated that Nigerian Tulip International Colleges (NTIC) is a non-governmental institution operating 16 schools in six several States of the Federation of Nigeria and in supports of education as a way of giving back to the society.
That Nigerian Tulip International Colleges (NTIC) “Our school has been organising this competition for the past 13years, hence this is the 14 edition of this award.
“There has been a lot of improvement in the conduct and the release of results. Eight years ago, our school started partnership with National Mathematics Centre in Abuja in the conduct of the examination nationwide.
That this academic competition was further strengthened with the collaboration with State Universal Basic Education Boards in Ogun State, Osun State and Oyo States”,
That “To give a wide coverage, the whole country is divided into five zones, with NTIC Abuja coordinating the competition in the North Central and the South East, NTIC Kano supervises the North West, NTIC Yobe supervises North East, NTIC Kaduna covers the North central while NTIC Ogun Statebsupervises the entire South west and Kwara State.
That the first stage of the competition held in 2016 brought over 35.000 pupils nationwide.
That the second round was held in March 2017, even as the second stage saw the best five pupils from each State, except Lagos with 10 qualifiers.
He further stated that the academic competition has witnessed greater success and created positive impact among youths in Nigeria.
That the quality of the examination conducted in several states of the nation has improved to the extent of being used as the yardstick to measure the performance of mathematics teachers in public schools across different education districts of the participating States in Nigeria. That in 2016, the teachers, pupils and schools were recorded with good success.
The scholarship to 8 students and rewarded 15 others gained other rewards include cash prizes, photocopier, certificates, medals and scholarship at different stages.
Mr. Orhan Kertim, Managing Director of Nigerian Tulip International Colleges (NTIC) concluded the event by stating that this is our way of giving back to the society and the institution is proud to give helping hands to youths realize and fulfilling their dreams towards a better future in Nigerian.
The ceremony witnessed a lot of special activities and the awardees were happy for their excellent achievement and thank the management of the organizer of the program.
